The coverage map

What it does. Shows recorded samples on a satellite map. When a tablet starts recording, the desktop window switches here and follows the walker.

How to use it

Color — Signal (default) or AP. Device, Humidity and Speed are under more.
Layers — heatmap (on by default), dots, path, APs, cameras/spots.
Basemap — Satellite, Hybrid, Streets (dark) or Topo, top-right.
Search — type an address or place to jump the map there.
Aim a dish — click an AP pin, then click where it should point, to set heading and draw the beam.
Live log — off by default; turn it on to watch points arrive.
Stacked dots — many samples at the same GPS (standing still) show as one marker. Click it: “N samples stacked here.”
Walks — click a walk to load just that path; Show all walks to overlay; × deletes that walk (house / AP pins stay). A walk that used Floor shows that on the row (or “mixed floors” if you changed it on the stairs).
Floor — all floors (default), Outdoor, or a numbered floor. Upstairs and downstairs share GPS, so pick a floor or the heatmap is both at once.
I'm here — tablet GPS indoors often sits on the road. Tap I'm here, then tap where you actually are. Stuck points slide; new points follow until Clear GPS shift (use that when you go outside).
Clear points — this run, today, duplicate pins, all house/camera pins, all yellow AP GPS pins, or all survey points. A single pin: click it → Remove. Export CSV first if you want a backup.

Blob of green dots on the house — Reload the Map (stacked dots). Newer Android builds skip a save if you have not moved ~5 m (at most every 3 s; standing still only every 20 s).
The walker dot is on the road while you are in the house — tablet GPS, not a broken follow. I'm here → tap the house. The green dot with the white ring is the walker's last saved point.
Map follows the PC, not the tablet — wait for a saved point; the walker marker follows the last GPS sample, not the desktop’s location.
No aerial imagery — tiles need internet; samples and pins still draw.
"Showing the most recent N" — the map draws at most 50,000 points. Narrow the date range, or use the CSV link in that notice.
