Why We Built BranchOut
It started with a simple wish: play music upstairs and downstairs at the same time.
We tried audio splitters. They were messy, unreliable, and limited to where you could run cables. Then we discovered USB speakers - affordable, easy to position anywhere with a USB port, and you can plug in as many as your computer has ports.
But Windows had other plans. Despite having multiple speakers connected, it would only play audio through one at a time. Want to switch rooms? Open Sound settings, change the default, hope your music app notices. Want both? Sorry, not supported.
So we built BranchOut Audio. Now the computer plays to every speaker we want, controlled from one simple interface. No more audio splitters. No more choosing between rooms. Just music everywhere.
