What's new
Cancel a scan, undo a delete, and export pages as images. Scanners are remembered, so the app opens ready to scan.
Scanning
- • Cancel a scan part-way through. Pages that already came through are kept.
- • Scanners are remembered, so the app is ready in about a second. Hide ones you don't use, or add one by IP address when Find can't see it.
- • Feeder alignment in Settings, for feeders whose scans come out shifted.
Pages
- • Undo a delete with Ctrl+Z. Delete, Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down work on several selected pages at once.
- • Combine into One Page puts the front and back of a card on one page. The ID card paper size scans just the card.
- • Rotated pages stay searchable, and the window stays responsive while pages are read, cropped and exported.
Export
- • Export as PDF, JPG or PNG. Several pages become one numbered image per page.
- • A smaller-file PDF or JPG for upload size limits. The status bar shows the exported size.
- • Copy Image puts a page on the clipboard for an email, chat or upload box.
Privacy and help
- • Turn off anonymous usage counts or crash reports in Settings, Privacy.
- • A tidier help panel, and new scans no longer go into OneDrive by default.
- • Logs attached to a support ticket no longer include your Windows user name.
HP Scan went away. The paper didn't.
HP discontinued HP Scan. Most of the replacements want an account, a subscription, or your documents in someone else's cloud.

Scan, check, export
Find the scanner
It looks on the network (eSCL/AirScan) and through Windows. Network scanners are remembered, so it opens ready to scan.
Pick how to scan
Flatbed, feeder, or feeder (duplex). 300 DPI and OCR on is the usual setup.
Scan
Pages show up as thumbnails. Rotate, reorder, or drop blanks. Close the app — they stay.
Export PDF
All pages, a range, or a list. If OCR was on, Ctrl+F works in any PDF reader.

Finds eSCL/AirScan network scanners and anything with a Windows WIA driver. Scanners are remembered, and you can add one by IP address.
Two-sided in one pass
Feeder (Duplex) returns front then back, in reading order. Blank backs can be removed afterwards.
Searchable PDFs
Tesseract OCR runs on your machine and embeds an invisible text layer. Ctrl+F in any PDF reader.
Documents remember themselves
Pages are saved as you scan. Close the app and they are still there. The Session dropdown opens earlier stacks.

Appearance follows the system colour mode, or lock it to light or dark.
