StreamTap

StreamTap records whatever is playing on your PC — a call, a stream, a video, a browser tab — straight to a WAV or MP3 file. No virtual cable, no driver install, no routing setup. Press RECORD, press STOP, get a file.

It can optionally record your microphone at the same time and mix it in, so both sides of a call or interview end up in one recording — or keep the two as separate files, if you would rather edit them apart.

Pick which playback device to record, and pause without ending the recording.

StreamTap is free, and runs on Windows 10 and 11.
