Display map and Identify

What it does

The map at the top of the window shows your monitors in the same arrangement as Windows' display settings, with the same numbers. Each tile shows the monitor's model name and state:

• Blue — on
• Orange, ALWAYS ON — marked Always on
• Grey, SLEEPING — asleep

Identify shows each monitor's number and model name on its screen for 3 seconds, so you can match tiles to screens.

How to use it

1. Click a tile to select that monitor. Its details and settings appear below the map.
2. Click Identify to see which screen is which. Click a number to dismiss it early.
3. Click Refresh after plugging in a monitor or changing a monitor setting (BranchOut Display also notices display changes on its own).

Troubleshooting

• A monitor is missing. Make sure Windows shows it in Settings → System → Display, then click Refresh.
• The name says "Generic PnP Monitor". The monitor didn't report a model name; everything else still works.
