Stillwater Disk Imager is a Windows application published by LTC Labs. Your drives, your images and your files never leave your computer, and Stillwater sends nothing to us. It has no account, no ads, no analytics, and no connection to an LTC Labs server.
What Stillwater reads and writes
- Your disks. To list your drives and back them up, Stillwater reads disk and partition details and, during a backup, the used parts of the drive you chose.
- The image file. It's written only to the place you pick (a USB disk, another drive or a folder), with a small manifest file beside it. Stillwater never copies it anywhere else.
What Stillwater sends
Nothing. This version has no update check, crash reports, usage data or telemetry. The Microsoft Store delivers updates. If a later version adds any of these, this page will say exactly what is sent, and it will never include your files, disk contents or file names.

Emails and messages through our support page are handled under the LTC Labs privacy policy. Only send what you're comfortable sharing.
Children
Stillwater collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
