See what's filling your drive. Clear it safely.

Underbrush scans your drive, says what each big folder is in plain words, and clears the parts that are safe to clear. Without breaking the build, the app, or the job that's running right now.

A drive fills up with things nobody chose to keep

Temp folders that never get emptied. Package caches that grow forever. Old build output, emulator images, installers you needed once.

Other tools show where

WinDirStat and WizTree show which folders are big. They don't say what a folder is, or whether deleting it breaks something.

Disk Cleanup only knows Windows

Windows' own cleaner knows what's safe for Windows files. It has nothing to say about npm, NuGet, Docker, emulators or your browser's cache.

Guessing is how things break

Delete the wrong cache mid-build, or a folder a sync app still needs, and you lose an afternoon. Underbrush says what it is before anything goes.

Everything goes in a pile

Only the first pile is ticked for you.

Safe to clear

Temp folders, browser and app caches, package caches (npm, NuGet, pip, Gradle, Yarn, Cargo, Go), build output, shader caches, crash dumps, the Recycle Bin. Apps rebuild or re-download these.

Your call

Downloads, Android emulators, Docker and WSL disks, AI models, Teams and Zoom data. Shown with size and last change, never ticked for you, and set aside for a week so you can put it back.

Cloud

OneDrive and other synced folders. Made online-only, never deleted: the files stay in the cloud and download again when you open them.

Leave it

Windows, installed apps, app settings, the page and hibernation files, Windows.old. Never cleared; where there's a proper way to shrink it, Underbrush says so.

What it does

See where your space went

Scan a drive or your home folder. The Dashboard shows free space, the biggest folders, and what kinds of files fill it.

Know what it is

Space hogs are named in plain words. In temp and cache folders, Underbrush says which app made each part.

Free up in one click

Or pick item by item in Clean up. Either way you see the list and the total first.

Explore and Largest files

Walk the folder tree by size, or jump straight to the biggest single files on the drive.

History

Every scan and clean-up, with what was cleared and how much space came back.

System

How hard your computer is working across disk, memory and CPU, so you know whether space is the real problem.

The safety rules run every time

Recent and open files stay

Files written in the last 3 days, and files that are open or locked, are skipped.

Builds come first

Package caches and build output wait while MSBuild, npm, cargo, gradle and friends are running.

Your code is never touched

A git repository is never cleared, even one sitting inside a temp folder.

Cloud files are never deleted

They're made online-only instead.

You see it first

Every clear shows the list and the total before anything happens.

Your files stay on your PC

Your files, folder names and scan results never leave your computer. No account. A daily update check, crash reports and anonymous usage counts help us fix problems, never with file names or anything about you, and each can be turned off in Settings.
